    A sturdy and versatile addition to home offices (or just homes), the HP OfficeJet D125xi combines the functions of printer, scanner, and copier in one small machine. The combination has no negative effect on quality--with print and copy resolutions of 2,400 x 1,200 dpi on photo paper and 1,200 x 600 dpi on plain paper, your family photos and office documents will be crisply legible and impressively vivid. Speeds (rated by the manufacturer) range between 4 and 19 pages per minute, depending on quality and coverage. Plus, thanks to convenient duplexing (automatic two-sided printing), you'll save both time and money when it comes to spinning out your newsletters, class papers, or office reports.
    The scanner allows you to easily digitize your family archives or quickly email articles or photos; with 1,200 x 4,800 dpi resolution, 48-bit color, and 256-level gray scale, images come through sharply focused with accurate, realistic tones. The maximum original size is 8.5 by 14 inches.

    Basic functions are accessible through the one-touch keypad. A 400-sheet paper tray is included; the outgoing tray capacity is 50 sheets of plain paper or 20 sheets of photo. Up to 22 envelopes can be loaded at a time. Compatible with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems, the multifunction device connects to your system via USB or parallel port. HP includes a one-year warranty covering parts and service.
