The SC-R5000 uses three Epson print technologies: halftoning, fully optimised lookup tables (LUT), and Micro Weave – that all contribute to reduce graininess and banding. Fully controlled heating and curing technology, combined with long-life PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads, provide reliable colour consistency across the entire length of the print run. This avoids the need for reprints due to mismatched colours and enables lamination and same-day delivery, thereby reducing your turnaround times.

Keep running for longer
User replaceable printheads allow you to make the most of your production time, as they can be easily replaced – with no special tools – within 60 minutes. The SC-R5000 also includes a bulk ink solution (1.5-litre ink pouches) for reduced printer downtime, convenience, and lower ink costs. To further support your business productivity the innovative ultrasonic detector reduces the risk of printhead failure, while nozzle verification technology (NVT) automatically compensates should any nozzle become blocked.

Starting a printing job and monitoring progress is simple, thanks to a user-friendly 4.3-inch LCD touch screen. The screen provides intuitive operation, and a signal lamp for easy status checks. Advanced Auto Tension Control (Ad-ATC) offers highly accurate dimensional stability required for tiled work such as window displays and wall coverings. This consistent repeatability saves material wastage, installation time and provides seamless results for the customer.
